This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks subcompact SUV. The Nissan Kicks is all new for 2025!
The 2025 Nissan Kicks has a new powertrain, an AWD option, a bolder design, more space and versatility. The Kicks will be offered in three trims and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date later in the summer. The 2025 Nissan Kicks is 2.8” longer, 1.6” wider and has almost an inch more height. The ground clearance is great on this model, 8.4” that’s almost an inch and half more clearance than the outgoing model.
Gone is the 1.6L 4-cylinder, the 2025 Nissan Kicks has a new powertrain with more horsepower and torque. A 2L 4-cylinder matched to a CVT with 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque. Drive modes include, normal, eco and sport. Kicks AWD models add snow mode.
The2025 Nissan Kicks has a bolder looking exterior design, we are showing the sportiest model, the SR trim with SR badging and red exterior accents. The rocker panels have a three-dimensional shape on them inspired by the soles of athletic sneakers. Standard 16” wheels, available 17” and 19” wheels. A tire repair kit is standard, but you can add a temporary spare tire, it’s listed as an accessory. The interior of the 2025 Nissan Kicks feels sportier and more upscale with improved materials. There are dual screens, 7” are standard with wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, available 12.3” with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. This is the first Nissan model to offer wireless Android Auto. Cloth upholstery is standard, available leatherette trimmed with cloth inserts. The 2025 Nissan Kicks SR model has orange interior accents and there is a package you can add to this top trim that has features like a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger and a 10-speaker Bose system. Other available features include heated fronts seats, a heated steering wheel and a 360-degree camera. The 2025 Nissan Kicks is missing a few features in the subcompact class like power fronts seats, driver seat memory, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and a power tailgate.
