Now we're well into winter, our bird feeding programme on the farm is fully underway. Our main aim is to help different species of bunting and finch, with Linnets from the latter being a real beneficiary. We scatter large quantities of mixed seed on selected field edges and tracks, with often huge flocks of buntings and finches being attracted.
