I get my age asked in like every other video, so I thought it was finally time to talk about it. My perceived age has always been my greatest career insecurity. It’s held me back on a number of occasions since people assume my capabilities based on my age. I've lost promotions because of it! :( So here's my open diary on why I don't talk about age (esp at work).

But now that I've gotten older, I realized that it's time to just embrace where I'm at in life. It's not worth it to spend all this energy withholding a part of me to protect some image I want people to have of me. Looking back, I didn't let myself enjoy life in the moment. I'm currently reflecting on what my big goals for the next year are and the theme is definitely around living life. :)

On another note - y'allll I'm still shooketh about Forbes. Ngl - I'd been feeling pretty low about myself these last couple months. 2022 felt like one big grind and I'm sad it went by just like that. But it is truly an honor to end the year like this. This community has been my most cherished thing this year. Thank you for being here with me.

So what's next for me? Well, Kevin and I are going to Taiwan and Japan! It's Kevin's first time in Taiwan and I can't wait to show him why it's the best place ever. I'm not sure if I can edit Youtube videos, but definitely TikToks, Reels, and Shorts. Stay tuned!!
