Tesla FSD V12.3.4 Fails To Impress, Gets Dubious And Dangerous On The DEWD Loop

My used Tesla Model 3 just updated to FSD 12.3.4 after having V12.3.3 for (maybe) a week. So, of course I drove it through my standard Drive-Electric-With-Domenick (DEWD) test loop here in Tallahassee, Florida.

After being impressed by the previous version, this one seemed marginally better in a couple of ways, but worse in others. It pulled a couple dubious moves, and a dangerous one – when it didn't slow for an upcoming yellow light until the last instant, then braked very hard.

I was about to intervene when I felt the braking kick in. I had no cars behind or around me, or I definitely would have applied brake sooner. This was a fail, since slamming on brakes at the last second could easily result in the car being rear-ended.

Hope to put together a non-DEWD Loop FSD video this week highlighting some key things FSD would need to conquer to achieve full autonomy, as well as some of the things it's in the process of conquering.
