If you've been wondering how to balance hormones with food, then it's time to learn about the benefits of seed cycling. Seed cycling (aka seed rotation) is a simple way to enhance your hormone-balancing diet and it can help with a wide range of symptoms including irregular periods, missing periods, hot flashes, hormonal acne and much more.

So, how does seed cycling work? Well you simply eat two sets of seeds during each phase of your menstrual cycle. It looks like this:

FOLLICULAR PHASE: 1-2 Tbsp Flaxseeds and/or Pumpkin seeds
LUTEAL PHASE: 1 - 2 Tbsp Sesame seeds and/or Sunflower seeds

You can eat just one seed from each set or both seeds if you have them available. Either way, these seeds contain nutrients that support our hormones and help to balance hormones naturally in the long-run.

You can add these seeds to hormone balancing smoothies, soups, salads, oatmeal and other hormone balance recipes that you enjoy.
It's also best to eat them raw and ground.

Now, do keep in mind that when it comes to using foods for hormone balance, you have to be consistent. Ideally these seeds should be incorporated into a healthy diet for hormone balance.

All in all, seed cycling can potentially help with:
PMS
Amenorrhea (missing period)
Perimenopause
Menopause
Natural fertility
Endometriosis
PCOS
Irregular periods
Hormonal Acne
Hair loss
Breast tenderness
Bloating
Mood swings
Insomnia
