January 17th 2024. New Fiscal year started January 1st, and Commissioners have voted to spend half of the entire Highway department budget in 3 transactions to the same contractor (nearly $600,000.). Just last year, 2023, the commissioners were forced to wrongfully transfer $555,000 into the Highway budget for their irresponsible spending habits. Is that where we are headed for a second time?
