Hey, TheThings fans - welcome back to another video! When everything comes together for a blockbuster film, the cast, director, script, etc - a lot of the time we end up with what we would consider a masterpiece. But on the other hand it's scary to think that some of these productions were one move away from creating the films we see on our screens today - especially when it comes to casting.

That’s why in today’s video we decided to do a little research and uncover iconic roles that were almost played by another actor. Not only were actors like Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson almost not cast, they had to fight for the right to land and even keep their parts. R-Patz was literally almost fired off of the Twilight Saga...who would have played Edward Cullen?

Other films we’ll be covering in this video include Lady Gaga in a Star is Born (Imagine someone other than Gaga singing Shallow?), Lisa Kudrow in Friends, and Lili Reinhart in Riverdale.

Thinking about how different our favorite movies and series would have been without these actors has us shook and we guarantee you won’t be able to watch these projects the same way after this video.
