There are serious allegations against one of the largest health care providers in California – Sutter Health is under fire. KCRA 3 spoke to several doctors from across the state who claim the health care system has engaged in discrimination. Two pending lawsuits detail claims of racial discrimination, harassment and retaliation. One filed in August 2021 against Sutter Health by Dr. Stephen Noble claims the hospital system used "… false allegations and intimidation tactics to target their own doctors-especially Black and other minority doctors to 'keep them in line.'"
