This is the 5th Episode of the Leaving Aus For Japan Series.
Spring in Hokkaido has been a mix of charm and surprises! The sight of daffodils reminded me of Wales, a sweet touch of home.
While the vibrant tulips amazed me, encounters with Japan's wildlife left lasting impressions. Spotting a cute Kitsune (Japanese fox) was delightful, contrasting the terrifying encounter with the Asian giant hornet (Suzumebachi) and the unsettling news of a bear sighting nearby.
Amidst the garden joys, relishing Rhubarb treats and bonding with Gaijin friends Bruno and David brought laughter and good times.
Stay tuned for my hair-raising near-miss, captivating Lake Akan adventures, and the unfolding of life changes ahead!
