Did you know Thursday, May 9, 2024, marks an incredible day in Christian History? Ascension Day is forty days after the resurrection! Why is Ascension Day significant? If Jesus doesn’t return to Heaven, he doesn’t leave us His incredible gift---the gift of the Holy Spirit! Without the Holy Spirit, we have no Salvation! As the Angels stated: “This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” In other words, he will descend to earth someday, just like he ascended!
