In this USA Travel Vlog we head to Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Currently there are tons of videos about the 'zombies' around the Kensington area of Philly, however there are still many nice places in Philadelphia that are worth visiting! We started our day at Reading Terminal Market - the oldest public market in the United States. It's still full of tons of different food stands and is a must visit in Philly! We had a pastrami sandwich and some amazing Beiler's donuts before walking along Market Street to Old City Philly. Old City is a really nice area of Philly! It's full of all the historic old buildings of Philadelphia and known as the birthplace of American independence. We went straight to the Independence Visitor Center where we were able to sign up for a free tour of Independence Hall. The tour guide told us a ton of great info and it was neat to see a building where so many famous people sat and so many important documents were signed such as the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. After the tour we went to see the famous Liberty Bell. From there it's a short walk to the Betsy Ross House - where the US flag was made. Also if you're in the area you need to check out Elfreth's Alley which is the oldest residential street in all of the USA! From Elfreth's Alley we were able to jump on a bus which took us the whole way across the city to the Philadelphia Art Museum which is where you find the famous Rocky Statue! We were able to take a bunch of pictures with the Rocky Statue before running up the art museum stairs just like Rocky did. We then took a bus back down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to Love Park. The Love statue is another Philadelphia icon that's located right next to City Hall. Our next stop was in south Philly to try the two most famous cheesesteaks in Philly: Pat's and Geno's! We ended up buying one cheesesteak from each place to see which one we liked better. We were surprised that we favored different ones which worked out well for us sharing them! After trying our first cheesesteaks it was time for our first Phillies game! We got to see the Phillies play the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was a good game even though Philly lost..... it ended up being an amazing day in Philadelphia completely free of zombies!
