* Note - Harry's lap timer recorded data but unfortunately not video of the fastest lap on street tires or slicks, however this lap of 1:53.7 is within half a second of the fastest lap and is likely more entertaining to watch since this lap time was accomplished despite going off track and being held up in traffic!

Backstory:
Two weeks prior we announced entry into Pikes Peak International Hillclimb with legendary driver and Unplugged Performance advisor Randy Pobst behind the wheel. At the time of announcement we did not yet even have a car...but we did have a plan! On Friday night, July 17th we picked up a brand new Model 3 Performance from Tesla. On Monday July 20th we began installing our full Ascension-R package of bolt on street tune upgrades to the fresh car. The build finished Friday night at 11pm and we drove it up to Buttonwillow on Autopilot. The car's first charge occurred at 2am at Buttonwillow the day of TeslaCorsa 9. We enlisted an industry friend Oscar Jackson Jr to try his hand at first shakedown of the build. It was Oscar's first time ever driving a Tesla on street or track! We did not expect to break any records during the car's first shakedown, although our parts have been used on the previous record holding XPO Sales x Unplugged Performance car and as we have evolved our parts we knew we could go faster potentially.

Results:
At 11:25AM the car broke the record for fastest ever production Tesla on street tires running a 1:54.266 on 200 tread wear tires. *This lap also was faster than the fastest record on slicks.
Later in the day we tried a used set of Pirelli slicks and ran a 1:53.277 on a 50% state of charge battery which set another record and solidified the car as the fastest Tesla ever recorded.
