After upgrading from your factory suspension, there is a bit of setup to ensure that you’re squeezing every bit of performance. Coilovers have a bunch of different parameters that can be changed to optimize the driving experience, regardless of how low you set the ride height, and the same thing goes for your control arms. In this video, I will be going over the initial setup on my FB6 Honda Civic Si, in addition to all of the adjustments that should be made prior to going to your alignment shop.

I tried to throw all of the links below to the items used in this video. Have a look at them, and let me know if I’m missing anything! If you are interested in any of the tools or products, have a look at the #linkedproducts. By purchasing items below, it helps my channel operate and brings more awesome content your ways. Thank you all for your generous support!!

If you wanted to inquire about doing high quality alignments at home and investing in some equipment, these are what I would buy:

▶︎ 4 Corner Scales - https://amzn.to/3HFzI2u
▶︎ Toe Plates - https://amzn.to/3hoVGfp
▶︎ Tape Measure Pack - https://amzn.to/3hlBHOV

After you perform the preload and initial ride height adjustment, you can then use the 4 corner scales to get the best suspension setup possible, as the left and right sides of the car will be approximately the same weight. That will allow the car to behave in a much more predictable manner.
