Car audio rescue on a 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series which botched car audio previously done by some wannabe installers. First thing on the business is to remove all plywood DIY speaker spacers that already starting to rot due to rain water damage. All of these will be replaced by high quality ABS plastic speaker spacers designed to fit Toyota 4 wheel drive SUV's, the Land Cruiser, FJ Cruiser, Prado and 4Runner. Also will fit to Fortuner Rush variants as well into HiLux pickups.

Replacing high quality speaker spacers will preserve the expensive car speakers which are Focal Performance Access 130 AC coaxial speakers for the rear and Focal ES 165 Elite K2 Series component car speakers on front door configurations.

Replaced every wires and cables. Soldered terminal lugs on every wire termination. 4 gauge power cable is laid out from the engine bay through passenger side under seat area for the monoblock subwoofer amplifier. Crimped pure copper terminal lugs on the battery terminals connecting ANS-H 100A 12V fuse and fuse holder.

I used a high quality line output converter tapped into rear channel speaker wires at the OEM Toyota head unit stereo cleanly tucked in the underside of plastic panels at the passenger side. Wire management is the key in clean car audio installation.

A 500w RMS 10" Lightning Lab WB-10 dual 2 Ohm subwoofer driven by Lightning Lab CL1450 single channel mono block 750w RMS amplifier. L-ported subwoofer box built by another builder is used in this setup. Box is somewhat boomy, perhaps due to over-sized enclosure.
