I have had to deal with multiple squatters and luckily never had a long prolonged relationship with any of them. However, we have had them overstay their welcome much longer than we had hoped. I have learned many things over the years dealing with squatters who were sellers who wouldn't leave, friends of the tenants, roommates, and trespassers.

Always check with an attorney or your state laws to make sure you are within the laws and not making things worse!
