News today that employers could now be sued if they do not make "reasonable adjustments" for menopausal women in the workplace, according to the equalities watchdog. Those adjustments include allowing women to wear cooler clothes into work or offering the option to work from home to help them deal with their symptoms. Sunetra argues women have fought hard to be equal in the workplace, and in some ways sees these new adjustments as unnecessary special treatment that will lead them to taking a step backwards, meanwhile Kaye thinks they are vital in keeping good talent in the workforce.
