I bought a small toy Strandbeest online, but it never arrived. So I thought I can make one. This is not the same designed as a traditional Strandbeest but this is my take on it. Originally I was thinking to make it wind powered, but wood make more friction than plastic so I decide to make it motorized. I did not make any pre-designing or planning, just start with a leg and make other parts as I go. I made some mistakes and did some changes, I edit most of it out, but you look closely you can spot couple of mistakes I made. I used a drill press when I need to drill a hole 90-degree angle to the wood. If you don’t have a drill press, find a way to drill 90-degree angle to the wood because you need it to make the crankshaft, for the rest a regular drill will do just find. thanks for watching, don't forget to like and subscribe
