#posturecorrection #diaphragmaticbreathing #breathingexercises

While we focus on training the diaphragm in the previous video, this video contains a breathing exercise that strengthens all the respiratory muscles on the back of our body. They are mostly activated in the mid-end phases of breathing. In those with a poor posture like text neck and/or hunch back, these little respiratory muscles can't function properly so most likely they are weak. If that is the case, this exercise will help activate the tiny but important muscles.

You can't strengthen them with bench press or squats as such big movements would use 'global'(large) muscles rather than 'local'(small) muscles. Respiratory muscles are considered to be local muscles and these muscles need to be exercised in a specific way as shown in this video.

You need to really focus on every single repetition and it is recommended that you do 10 repetitions for each 'Diaphragm training' and 'Crocodile breathing' but you can focus more on what you feel like you need to strengthen more.
