Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a trackless dark ride, motion simulator, walk-through, and drop ride system at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The ride is set between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker and involves joining the Resistance in a battle against the First Order. Riders accept missions from the Resistance, find the Resistance in the forest, and help gather recruits for a secret mission. The ride is loud, dark, scary, and has small drops

The ride combines four ride systems, including trackless vehicles, a motion simulator, walk-through environments, and an elevator drop. The vehicles lead riders through the Star Destroyer, where they are pursued and attacked by the First Order. The ride also includes Audio-Animatronics, practical sets, projection mapping, and screen-based media

The ride is suitable for kids, tweens, teens, adults, and people who are 40 inches (102 cm) or taller. Some say the ride is intense in some areas, and parents should consider watching a full ride-through before their vacation to determine whether it's a good fit for their kids. This is particularly the case if your children are scared of the dark, loud noises, or under the age of 8
