Overlanding The Central Kalahari Episode 1

An adventure travel trip before the madness, in a time when adventurers could travel freely. This was an adventure where 4 South African YouTubers come together and enjoy a bucket list trip into the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana. This trip has always been something I have wanted to do, and what a privilege to do it with good mates.

This was 14 day trip, in the month of March 2020, 11th to the 22nd, travelling from South Africa, into Botswana, all the way up to the Northern part of the CKGR where we enter the wilderness reserve at Matswere Gate, and travel the full length down to exit at Khutse game reserve. This episode sums up the first 6 days in the CKGR, and it comes as no surprise, that we were in our element. The CKGR is just magic this time of the year. We stayed 3 nights at Kori Campsite, and 3 nights at Sunday Pan campsite.

Stay tuned for episode 2, as we leave Sunday Pan campsite, and begin the long drive down the entire CKGR, staying at Letihau campsite 1 night, Xade campsite 1 night, Bape campsite 1 night, and Malose camp 1 night, and we end our CKGR adventure at Khutse campsite 2 nights.
