Beth and I review the interior in this 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan SE R-Line Black and talk about how it compares to all the other compact crossovers in this segment. The Tiguan is one of the cheapest ways to get a 3rd row in a new crossover, and when it comes to interior space, it's top-notch for its segment. Beyond the roominess, the Tiguan falls short, with an overall cheaper feeling interior than just about every other competitor out there. While this SE trim doesn't have the niceties of the SEL like digital gauges or ventilated seats, all versions of the Tiguan suffer from cheap, hard feeling plastics and dated VW switchgear. While some people may appreciate this for its simplicity and durability, the fact is the Tiguan interior feels much less impressive than most of its competitors do for the same money. What do you think of the VW Tiguan interior? Thanks to Volkswagen for providing this vehicle to review.
