Have STL files or “Meshes” that you want to convert to an IPT file? Meshes, or STL files, are file types that companies use to either send to a 3D printer, protect their intellectual data, or both. If you can, try asking the sender for at least a STEP file of the model itself; that would be easier to manage and make changes for us as the receiver. However, if that is not an option, then pay attention to this webinar! Join us as Customer Success Manager Brian Mongkolpoonsuk shows us what tools and techniques we can use when working with meshes inside of Autodesk Inventor.

After this webinar, you will learn how to:

-Convert a mesh STL file into a solid IPT
-Project mesh geometry to reverse engineer mesh parts
-Apply constraints and work geometry to associate mesh parts in an assembly
