Light rain made for tricky conditions in this DMAX Sprint but the lap times of the top 5 were all within 0.2 seconds which made for a close race at the front. After qualifying on pole I lost the lead after running wide and was back to 3rd mid race. Any chance of a comeback were scuppered late on after tangling twice with a backmarker in two consecutive corners!
