Joey Gonzalez first transitioned from Barry’s customer and superfan to instructor in 2004. Working his way up the ranks to manager, director of operations, and eventually partner, he dedicated his life to traveling across the country and opening new locations. In 2009, he took on the role of COO, and was eventually named CEO in July 2015. Staying connected to the Barry’s community is a priority for him, and a reason why he continues to teach at least once a week. The Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (HAE) is dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship, the promotion of innovation, and the ideals of leadership and learning.
