In today's episode we are finishing up the Carbon Cleaning job on the 2007 Audi A6 3.2 from the previous video and installing all the new seals on the fuel injectors before putting everything back together. It's important to replace these seals when doing this job to prevent future leaks and repairs.

One major downside to all modern day direct-injected cars is that carbon deposits build up and needs to be removed every 20k – 80k miles depending on conditions, engine type (e.g. the RS4 V8 engine is more prone to carbon deposits). Carbon buildup is due to the fact that no fuel is being injected over the intake valves like in a more common port-injected car, but instead injected directly into the combustion chamber.
