Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday. The stories of the happy pilgrims and generous natives was appealing- in particular because my family can be traced back to both of them.

While delving into information to find tribal connections and working with people who hold tribal rights I started learning and the more I learned the less I discovered I knew and the false beliefs and faulty understanding became revealed to me.
