This is my video dump from my visit to the San Diego International Auto Show. Excuse the low, grainy resolution of some of the footage but I recorded mostly with my phone because of convenience.

The video lists only vehicles that are all new for 2023 or of new trim/version levels of existing models (Kia EV6 GT, Corvette Z06)

I omitted other cars in the video to keep it short and sweet but was excited to see cool vehicles like the Corolla GR (SEMA concept) and an array of other awesome vehicles like the Ford Bronco.

Interesting what Kia and Hyundai are doing with their hybrids, mostly avoiding CVT's unlike Toyota and Nissan.

Although this Auto Show is not nearly as big as the Los Angeles Auto Show, I did get a chance to check some of the best vehicles for 2023.

I was impressed with the looks of the Toyota Prius. I think it is pretty attractive compared to any previous generation.

The Toyota Crown has got to be one of the most uninspiring, weird looking cars I have ever seen. I really don't know who could find it attractive. Yes, it's a reliable Toyota but to me it just looks weird, like whale on wheels with a huge grille that barely fits in the front end.

Weird looking as well but in my opinion more functional, comes the 2023 Toyota bZ4X, what a weird name for an equally weird looking "SUV". Cheap interior, awkward looks but hey, it's a solid Toyota.

Another big winner in my opinion was the 2023 Honda Pilot. It's a stunning SUV with great proportions; a big improvement over the last generation. This generation looks more rugged and better looking from all angles, boxy, utilitarian. A big let down of the new Honda Pilot is the cost cutting measures. The one in exhibition was the Elite which is the very top of the line yet the rear doors have hard plastic... unacceptable for a top version of a Pilot that costs around $55000.

I liked the 2023 Honda CR-V as well. The one at the Auto Show was the EX-L which is near the top, just below the Sport Touring. Great interior but one zonk (Raiti's) I will give it for the lack of a panoramic sunroor like the one offered by competitors like the Toyota Rav4 and the Nissan Rogue to mention 2.

Continuing with Honda, the 2023 Honda Civic Type R is one great looking four door hatchback. It's wide, it's low and looks very aggressive. I'd probably ditch the rear wing for something more subtle but other than that, a great looking car with a powertrain and chassis that mean business.

This is my first time seeing the 2023 Corvette Z06 and let me tell you that it is an impressive sports car. Very similar to the Stingray but with subtle aesthetic differences that accentuate the nature of this relative affordable mid engine exotic sports car.

I was blown away by the new 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. What a stunning small truck! Seems like GM aimed their efforts at taking sales from the perennial Toyota Tacoma.
I saw other cars like the 2023 Honda Accord and sadly it didn't generate any buzz. The car was just there with no interest from the visitors. I guess that is with almost any sedan... people just want SUV's and EV's nowadays.

And lastly, the 2023 Lexus RX350... it's way better looking in person. Honestly, having had owned many Lexus and a prior generation RX350, I felt that the latest redesign didn't evolve enough but seeing it in the flesh, looks great! The lines are softer and the grille is less polarizing, still big, but better executed. The interior is more modern while preserving Lexus DNA of simplicity and traditional premium feel with perception of Lexus quality and longevity.
