An unexpected tapping noise developed somewhere in the engine of my 2010 Camro SS. Turns out the noise coming from the Hell Pony was due to stock LS rocker arm failure. Luckily for me, when I installed the Texas Speed VVT 1.2 cam I also installed Comp Cam LS rocker arm trunnion upgrade kit as well. This upgrade saved the engine by containing the roller bearings when the end caps failed and the bearings were unable to exscape into the depths of the motor.
