CES 2024 is filled with new tech from so many old and new companies. Although Tesla doesn’t participate in CES directly, a lot of the tech highlighted comes from or in consideration of the flagship Tesla vehicles.

@JackeryInc , well known for their portable power storage and solar solutions has brought something exciting and new to CES this year. Mounted atop this F150 is their new rooftop tent that they plan to offer in Q4 of 2024.

This rooftop tent is special because it was designed with portability, modularity and adaptability in mind. Like other rooftop tents, this one is also able to store in a compact package, reducing impact on range from aerodynamics.

On the roof of the box is where things start to show that this is something new. On this prototype there is 1k watt of solar, which includes deployable wings on both sides. For the production version, they are planning to remove the wings, but are able to still provide 600 watts solar with the existing panel seen on just the roof cover. In addition, they have developed an inverter that is capable of taking charge from the alternator from a traditional ICE vehicle.

Finally, this tent finishes off with a battery pack that is integrated. That said, the pack can still be removed if desired to be used for other applications.

This is just another product from Jackery made to help you get out there and explore!
