I’m a huge sake lover and really enjoy trying sake not only in different parts of New York, but also when I travel.

When we were shooting two YouTube video about Industry City, one about Teressa Folgia’s hats and another one about 5 great spots to visit, Teressa introduced us to Brandon Doughan, the head brewer and co-founder of Brooklyn Kura.

The space was actually closed when we passed by, but Brandon was super polite to let us in, teach us about sake and show us how it’s done.

Yes! We had a sneak peek into their brewing process and, of course, we had some sake!
