If you’ve ever try to search stats about some of your favorite sports stars, you may have noticed this issue: some of the most important info is incorrect – but only for female athletes. This was a problem Rebecca Sowden noticed far too often, so she helped create “Correct the Internet,” a project looking to correct the internet’s biases when it comes to women in sports. The project has already earned support from some of the sports world’s biggest stars — like Billie Jean King and Alex Morgan.
