Is there a problem with modern food? Is it the food – or how it is prepared? Should we eat all the same or like our ancestors? How far back do we need to go for traditional foods to be healthy? Whole Foods are wonderful, but are we maximizing their nutrient value?

These are just a few of the questions being asked of Holistic and Functional nutrition professionals in 2021. The answers can be contradictory, confusing, and out of touch with modern life.

Hawthorn University Holistic Health and Nutrition Webinar Series welcomes Tammera J. Karr, Ph.D. for her presentation Traditional Foods - Where Tradition Meets Science*.
