Growing up and trying to understand your developing identities has many challenges. Ata Rahman shares his story, as the son of Pakistani Muslim immigrants, living in a predominantly white area of London and his emerging sexuality. Despites the many obstacles, the support mechanisms, therapy and a new sense of self-perception have enabled his ability to smile.
