Today's video are a few ways I stay productive. I'm not going to pretend I'm ~the most productive person ever~, but when it comes down to it, I can get what I need to done.

I also think I've found ways to become more efficient than many people, in part because I work for myself and value getting more done in less time.

Here are the ways I stay productive:

1. Automating Anything That Can Be
As we get more technologically advanced, there will be less things we really need to do manually. A few that I have already switched over are auto paying bills and grocery shopping.
Auto pay is not a new concept at all, but I thought I would mention it as a friendly reminder :)
Grocery shopping is my favorite thing to automate because I simply don't enjoy it! I often use Amazon Fresh, but sometimes will do Instacart.

2. Using Faster Equipment
As a YouTuber, most of what I do is editing! I always wanted to switch over to premiere pro but found my laptop could not handle it. In fact, over time, I started to notice that my projects were too intense for that laptop in general. I've started using the Intel Evo to handle my larger editing projects!

I've found overall, it's worth it to upgrade your equipment IF you can afford it. If it allows you to get more or better work done, it's usually worth it!

3. Using Keyboard Shortcuts
Over the years I've learned a number of different keyboard shortcuts to significantly speed up my editing! If you aren't doing this, try learning a few each week- you will be amazed at how much faster you are at editing in a fews months time!

4. Editing in double speed
I recently learned this specific short cut to edit in double speed! It's perfect for long talking parts of videos where I'm search for one specific phrase, and need to cut the rest out. HIGHLY recommend for editing talking videos!

5. Wake up earlier
I hate to say it... but it's true! I know some people will not want to hear this one... but waking up earlier, for almost everyone, results in more productive hours during the day!
