On this episode of Good Bites Takeout, host Mahlet Yordanos is in Kensington Market for some of Toronto’s most authentic Mexican street food at Pico de Gallo. Though this food stand is small, chef/owner Sergio Maldonado and his partner Vanessa have gained a cult following for their tacos, quesadillas, tostadas, burritos, tortas, guacamole and ceviche.

About 3 months ago, Pico de Gallo’s Instagram account was hacked and held for ransom, which led to them losing 12,000 of their followers and forcing them to start their online presence from scratch.
