Richard A Lawhern is a technically trained non-clinician healthcare writer and patient advocate, with 26 years' experience as a moderator in peer-to-peer social media support groups for patients and caregivers who deal with chronic severe pain. He is also a subject matter expert on public #health policy for US regulation of prescription opioids and of clinicians who employ them in pain management.
