A tranquil hike up to High Salvington Windmill and then further on to the top of Findon Valley on the South Downs with stunning views over Findon, including some nice natural birdsong. Old Findon Village is about another 1 mile north, which I will be filming in the near future, as well videos of Cissbury Ring and Chanctonbury Ring which are also nearby. Findon Valley is situated just 2 miles north of Worthing, which is on the south coast of West Sussex.
The windmill dates from approximately 1750. It was renovated by local enthusiasts to full working order and re-opened in 1991.
