After welding repairs to the wheel arches and inner wings of the 1989 Talbot Express Camper Van there was finally enough vehicle to attach a battery tray to. This was made out of a sheet of 300x500mm steel plate that was 2mm thick but 1.5mm would have been closer to original. With a couple of coats of Epoxy primer this area of the van can be left a while so that other work can continue.
