It's the second day of Liz and Kat's Best Friends' Rocky Mountain Road Trip Adventure.
This is our first wake-up in the van, and boy did we sleep poorly the night before. But that doesn't dampen our spirits as we kick off our day with instant coffee we picked up from Black Coffee Roasting Co. in Missoula, MT. We had to cover a lot of ground today, and we debated the best way to move quick while also seeing as many beautiful things as we could fit in. This brought us to Craters of the Moon National Monument, sprawling with lava flows, huge craters, and amazing caves. We ended the day parked outside a friend's cabin near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, thankful for the safe and quiet place to sleep for the night.
To be honest, most of our day was spent driving which wasn't too exciting for the camera. But it was a beautiful drive, and we were happy to see the changing colors and beautiful mountains.
