tumhara hijr manaya to main akela tha
junoon ne hashr uthaya to main akela tha

dayaar e khawb tha, tum they, tamam duniya thi
kisi ne aa ke jagaya to main akela tha

koi hussaini na nikla mere rafeeq-on se
dia bhuja ke jalaya to maine akela tha

tumhara hath nahin tha, woh mauj e girya thi
meri samajh main jab aya to main akela tha

dayaar e ghair gaya tha main khushi-yan lane ko
palaTt ke gaaon jab aya to main akela tha

kahan se ayi hai akhir teri talab mujh main
mujhe khuda ne banaya to main akela tha
