When it came to the BYD brand, they really have stepped up big time. From building generic taxis for London (and Brussels), and today picking a fight with Tesla and the Volkswagen Group!

On the EV topic, Tesla, Stellantis and the Volkswagen Group have been the biggest players.
Tesla has built the first ever desirable electric car, like the Tesla Model S, and then along came the Tesla Model X with those fancy gullwing-doors.

The Volkswagen Group on the other hand caught up very quickly, especially with desirable models like the Porsche Taycan!

Stellantis has a number of budget electric hatchbacks.

The BYD Seal U 2024, has a different approach in design when compared to other BYD models, like the BYD Tang, or BYD ATTO 3. Thank goodness they got rid of that pretentious front grill!
The crossover SUV segment is the hottest in terms of demand, and the BYD Seal U looks looks like a serious competitor!
