We have been building out an in-law unit (also AirBnB) that is generally pretty small so we wanted some eye catching features to break up the simple, square layout of the rooms. We built open shelving for the kitchen that had sleek 45 degree angles and wanted something similar in the bathroom for a towel rack to tie it together. We really like how this towel rack looks like it's popping off the wall! It's really easy to make, super functional, and is an eye catching piece with it's sharp angles.

This shelving is quite possibly one of the easiest things to make but looks very modern and custom. It can easily be made in a day and for less than $30 if you have some scrap plywood lying around.
- I used all 3/4" plywood
- The assembly requires only wood glue, no screws
- The installation was probably the hardest part, but could be simplified by not using the floating shelving brackets.

COST:
- Scarp plywood (there's some cost here, but it's already been relegated as "scrap," so I'm calling it $0)
- Floating shelving brackets - $14: https://amzn.to/44ulpWd
- Birch Edge Banding - $16: https://amzn.to/3YXog8Y
- Consumables (paint, wood glue)
- TOTAL COST ~ $30
