Just to clarify things.. This was a failure that I will not blame Kia for and most certainly will not blame my tuner.

I slowed down to coast through town one day and noticed my temp gauge pegged out. My thermostat stuck shut and overheated my car really bad, like 265 degrees of bad.

It was not even a glorious end while ripping it into a catastrophic failure. She still lives but has a cracked head along with a bad internal coolant leak now. It breaks up really bad on the big end so for now it's patiently awaiting a new engine.

John at Tork Motorsports does an amazing job tuning. Four years strong I've been thrashing on his tunes and never once an issue, a thermostat is what finally took her down. This thing is struggling in these clips and still sounds amazing, highly recommend Tork for all your tuning needs!!
