The 1991 Nissan Figaro was made in Japan for only one year, and in our opinion is one of the cutest Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) cars ever produced. It was made in the 1990s but has a 1950s retro look and feel to it. It has a typical Japanese obsessive attention to detail, with the 50s look covering everything from the exterior to the interior and even the radio. The two tone exterior paint colors were chosen to represent the four seasons: the Emerald Green on the car we offer (spring), Topaz Mist (autumn), Pale Aqua (summer) and Lapis Grey (winter). This adorable JDM car is powered by a 1.0-liter (987 cc) turbocharged engine that produces 75 hp and 78 lb⋅ft of torque through a three-speed automatic transmission. It also happens to make the cutest little turbo sounds we have ever heard.  Nissan introduced the Figaro at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show,  titling the launch "Back to the Future".  The Figaros were all built at Nissan's special projects “Pike” factory, with the original production run planned for 8,000 cars but quickly increased to 12,000 to meet the overwhelming demand. The desire from buyers for the Figaro far exceded expectation and in the end Nissan built 20,073 Figaro's in the convertible's single year of series production. All of the Nissan Figaro were built with right hand drive and all built for the Japanese Domestic market.
