Ever wonder how much courage – and energy, time and focus – it takes to compete in the Rebelle Rally? This all-female 2,500 kilometer off-road competition, which doesn't allow GPS, electronics or phones, is one of the most grueling – and telling – contests on the road.
But journalists and accomplished off-roaders Kristin Shaw and Jill Ciminillo took on the competition for the second year in a row, honing their skills and fine-tuning their strategy. They tell us how they prepare, endure and grow as humans and yes, how they remain friends.
