compleetly dead unit all was wrong with this one, so it was a pull it all apart for fun,
a real tear it all down video, but the good thing is, we get to see all the cool details,
After the video was made i figured a lot more out about measurement methode,
heater = IR light source, Shutter turn on/off signal to measurement, and reference at the SAME time, IR filters from source only pass thru correct wavelength to activate / heat up CO2, reference and measurement air gets IR and expand, IF CO2 is there, more CO2 = more expand, both sides are connected to each side of membrane = ultra sensitive microphone, a condenser mic, with two oscillators for even higher result of the differance,
the differance measurement is in sync with shutter, 3 phase motor, temperature compensations and heater and calibration systems also a part of this unit, very impressive design. unit is 27kg big and heawy.
