In my quest to record all things at Disney in the early 2000's, I taped this show before having kids, which was not awkward at all. Grown man in a preschool show taking videos. Okay. Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage went through different versions as popular shows debuted. In this version from 2003 you will see Bear in the Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Olie, Stanley, and The Book of Pooh. The host, Jamie, leads the kids through different Playhouse Disney shows. The audience gets to dance, spin, and hop with their favorite characters. About a month after this taping, Playhouse Disney opened at Disney's California Adventure.

Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage opened at MGM on Oct. 1, 2001, replacing Bear in the Big Blue House - Live on Stage. In 2005 JoJo's Circus replaced Rolie Polie Olie. In 2008 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Handy Manny, and Little Einsteins replaced older shows. On March 4, 2011 the new Disney Junior: Live on Stage opened and that show featured newer shows like Jake and the Neverland Pirates. On Dec. 22, 2018 the Disney Junior Dance Party debuted featuring Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Timon, and Mickey Mouse.

Not being a watcher of Playhouse Disney, I spent a lot of time looking up in the rafters trying to find remnants of the 1990s Catwalk Bar.
