Customer complaint was check engine light on and flashing. Reviewing the service history the vehicle has had a history of poor heater performance but nothing was found at the time. Customer continued to drive the vehicle with thermostat issue and damaged the engine. Engine was burning coolant internally and caused a cracked cylinder and turbocharger. Coolant washed cylinder 1 and 4. Recommend replacing the engine and thermostat housing.
