The Harry Potter series is easily one of the biggest and most popular of all time. No matter what House you are, or if you prefer the books to the movies, Harry Potter is universally loved. But while the movies are a somewhat faithful adaptation of the books, doing their best to keep as much of the source content in the limited run time, there were a lot of scenes and characters that didn’t make the cut. Most of these scenes and characters have a significant presence in the novels and are important to the plot as well as being beloved members of the magical world. But even that wasn’t enough to save them from the cutting room floor…

In this video we will look at some of the characters who only made it into the books and did not feature in the movies. This includes major members of some of the most popular wizarding families, critical characters who provided character depth and plot development and just characters we just plain love that for some reason or another didn’t make it in.
