Did You Know? Shift patterns and lack of sleep could impact pregnancy outcomes. A study followed 9357 women and 2602 male partners, finding that male short sleep duration and female night work were linked to higher rates of spontaneous abortion. Interestingly, females who slept less than 6 hours did NOT show increased SAB rates compared to those who slept 7-8.9 hours. Couples who had different work schedules, especially if the male worked non-daytime shifts, also had elevated SAB rates. This research highlights the importance of considering both partners' work schedules for healthy pregnancies. #PregnancyHealth #ShiftWork #MiscarriagePrevention
